Pretend gay - Minus Celsius

What if your best friend (who was a member of the opposite sex) had been telling you they are gay, entirely gay. The entire time you have been friends.
But then someday would tell you that they are not gay at all, but just pretend to be, so they would get closer to you because they wanted to date you.
Would that be the end of the friendship?

I don't know if we were really best friends and when he revealed himself of not being gay, I would just have to judge it how I see it, it would depend on the differences from his fake gay self to his real self.

Hell yes. If someone did something like that to try and trick their way into my affections rather than just be honest about it, there'd be no way I'd even be talking to that person.
